Exports
How an inquiry with Skylark Exports moves from grade and packing to a shipment for importers and plants.

Importers and plants
The site is for importers and for the plants that consume the mineral: ceramics, glass, foundry, paint, paper, refractories, and construction. An importer needs a grade the plant will accept. A plant needs the same grade on the next lot.
Skylark does not list markets, ports, or countries here. You name the destination. The offer is built around the grade, the packing, and the quantity.
Packing
Typical export packing in this trade is 25 kg bags, 50 kg bags, 1 MT jumbo bags, or bulk. Which of those Skylark actually offers is still to be confirmed, so do not treat the full list as available on every mineral.
25 kg bags
Typical export packing for plants that handle small bags. Still to confirm for each Skylark grade.
50 kg bags
Typical export packing where the warehouse already unloads 50 kg. Still to confirm for each grade.
1 MT jumbo bags
Typical export packing when the plant can discharge a jumbo bag. Still to confirm. If the warehouse cannot, say so in the inquiry.
Bulk
Typical for some silica and feldspar movements. Still to confirm. Not every mineral on this site is offered in bulk.
From inquiry to shipment
Five items are enough for a quote that matches the plant. Miss one and the offer is for a grade, a bag, or a port the buyer did not ask for.
01
Product and job
Name the mineral and the plant that will run it. Silica for a foundry is not silica for flint glass. A grade code or a previous sheet helps.
02
Limits
Send the limits you will accept: mesh or AFS, iron, moisture, whiteness, alumina, or alkali. A request for “best quality” is not a specification.
03
Packing and quantity
Say how the plant can receive the material, and the quantity for this shipment. A trial bag and a monthly container are different offers.
04
Your destination port
Name the port yourself. This site does not publish a port list or a country list, and a quote should not invent one.
05
Documents
Ask for a certificate of analysis on the lot, a packing list, and the commercial invoice. Those papers are not downloads on this site.
Start from the mineral
If you already know the grade, open that page and request a quote from there. The request stays tied to the mineral you read.
